The annual Spring Fever Chase welcomes the arrival of spring to coastal Alabama with a 10K race and 2-mile fun run/walk along the bay and scenic neighborhoods of Fairhope. Now in its 34th year, the race is one of the most popular in the region.

Held in conjunction with the annual Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival, it draws nearly 3,000 serious and not-so-serious runners. Runners compete in 14 different age categories for males and females, as well as race walking and wheelchair divisions.
Sponsored by Thomas Hospital and Wells Fargo, the race benefits the schools of Baldwin County as well as Operation FitKids, a program offered by Thomas Health and Fitness to combat childhood obesity.
